Gabrielle Higdon
Founder & Director of Student Support
Gabrielle Higdon brings more than 10 years of experience in education, with a background that combines psychology, teaching, school counseling, and individualized student support. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with students with different learning styles, academic needs, executive functioning challenges, IEPs, 504 Plans, and social-emotional needs. These experiences shaped her belief that meaningful student support must consider the whole student, not only their grades.

A Small Team That Gets to Know Your Student
Higdon Growth Co. is intentionally built around a small, close-knit team of Student Support Specialists with experience in education, psychology, counseling, and youth development. Our team works together throughout each student’s experience. Gabrielle remains closely involved with both the family and the assigned specialist to develop a personalized plan, review progress, and adjust support as the student’s needs change. We understand that the same challenge can have different causes.
A student who is missing assignments may need help with organization, comprehension, confidence, motivation, or feeling overwhelmed. We take the time to understand what is behind the concern rather than making assumptions. Because our team stays connected, families receive support that feels consistent, thoughtful, and personal. Our specialists are selected for both their experience and their ability to build trust, meet students where they are, and encourage growth with patience and care.

Support Beyond the School Day
After more than 10 years working in education, I saw the same challenge again and again: many students need support beyond the school day. Schools provide an important foundation, but families are often left searching for additional help when their child is struggling to understand schoolwork, stay organized, manage frustration, build confidence, or become more independent. Higdon Growth Co. was created with one simple belief: it takes a village. By combining academic, executive functioning, and social-emotional support, we help students receive the structure, accountability, and encouragement they need in and beyond the classroom.
